Are you the problem?

An old mentor once told me – Each of us knows of someone who is a problem, we live with someone who is a problem, or we are the person with the problem – realistically it is all three.  None of us are perfect human beings.  When we are involved in conflict with another it is important to understand this and explore if there is something different that we can do or to change the manner we communicate to one another about the problem to bring about a more positive solution.  If we are frequently critical of another, we will foster defensiveness in that other person.  Instead, we can change the pattern of how we communicate about an issue and increase the likelihood of coming to a mutual “win-win” solution toward resolving the conflict and in so doing respect each person by being non-judgmental toward one another.  http://emapdrschulz.com
