On Setting Goals

What goal(s) have you set to improve some aspect of your life?  In setting a goal, how would you know that you have achieved it?  What are the steps along the way toward that goal and how are you measuring it?  If you don’t define what the goal is that you want and what it is that would have occurred once you got there how will you know when you have arrived?  This is easy to understand if you are working on a goal such as weight loss.  You set a goal of how much you want to lose, set up a plan to lose it, track the foods you are eating, and weigh yourself regularly toward the obtainment of that goal. This concept can be applied and expanded in specific ways toward other goals in life.  Counseling, Life Coaching, or setting up a supportive mentoring or accountability relationship with another individual can help in this endeavor. What is the next area that I can grow in and become better and better as a person?  Obtain a goal, memorialize achieving that goal, celebrate it, and then define a new goal.  http://emapdrschulz.com
