Research on Spirituality and Healing

Research on Spirituality and Healing

I have often shared with people that I do not have enough faith to be an atheist or agnostic. From my personal experiences, hearing other’s experiences regarding divine intervention, and studying on my own, there is a vast amount of information providing documentation providing evidence of the reality of Spiritual experiences and healing. One book that I have been reading is Healing Research Volume I 2001 Spiritual Healing – Scientific Validation of a Healing Revolution, by – Daniel J. Benor, MD. It goes into great depth and detail of actual research related to healing. For some, the downside of this book is that it includes a discussion of spiritual beliefs outside of Christianity (as well as a discussion of a spiritual practices within Christianity). I understand and respect that, but ultimately, I found the reading of the book still useful as I can choose which spiritual/healing practices that I am comfortable with using as a Christian and which I am not comfortable with. It is not a book for casual reading as it is written for someone interested in the details of what went on with how a particular research study was conducted. However, I have found the book invaluable in that it provides evidence supporting effects of spirituality and healing.  http://emapdrschulz.com
