As a Christian psychologist, I invite you to practice this brief Christ-centered meditation to restore calm and reconnect with God’s presence. Gently scan your body from head to toe, noticing areas of tension or ease. Breathe deeply and remind yourself that you are a spiritual being having a physical experience, created and loved by God.
Become aware of your senses - what you see, hear, and feel in this moment. Acknowledge any stress, anxiety, or discomfort. With each exhale, surrender your worries to God, asking Him for healing, peace, and clarity. Release every burden into His care.
Stay mindful of your breathing as you continue letting go - your thoughts, emotions, and the rest of your day - placing them fully in God’s hands. Repeat: “I am a spiritual being having a physical experience.” Remember that while thoughts and feelings rise and fall, your true identity is secure in Christ.
Invite the Holy Spirit to guide you, granting wisdom, discernment, and direction for the moments ahead. When you feel ready, close with gratitude: “Thank You, God,” and reaffirm, “I am a spiritual being having a physical experience.”
