My wife and I saw it and we both thought it was an excellent movie. It was basically a fictional store about the power of prayer. The movie was fictional. The power of prayer is real The same creators of this movie also were the creators of the movies Fireproof and Courageous. All of these are inspirational movies for those who identify with a Christian faith perspective. Recently, someone shared a book by Stephen & Alex Kendrick called “The Battle Plan for Prayer – From Basic Training to Targeted Strategies” – it can be purchased through http://warroommovieresources.com It was published just before the movie the War Room came out and came out to be a resource for people who’s interest was sparked about prayer after seeing the movie.
